Preston Grasshoppers U15's 0-31 Wigan RUFC U15's

An almost full squad visited Grasshoppers only to find them short numbered due to their half term week (one week earlier than ours)

The match was played 13 a side on the all weather 4G pitch on a cold day with occasional blustery showers.

Wigan scored after only 30 seconds and then took only 13 minutes to score enough (30 points) to win the cup match 31 - 0 with tries from Billy, Logan (x2), Owen and Toby with three conversions from Joss. Clinical and efficient if not a great spectacle.

With the cup match effectively over a friendly ensued with 4 for Wigan's substitutes making a 15 a side game which proved to be much more evenly matched meaningful and a good training session for the team.

Wigan should now finish top of the table and have a home fixture in the Quarter Final on 25th February.
