Too Strong for the Seasiders

Coach, Phil Hulme asked his players to respond to Wigans first defeat of the season last week and got just that.... Players missing due to half term and the welcoming of 2 new team members Louis Marsh and Harry Walsh, Wigan with only 1 sub faced a strong looking 22 man opposition.

Due to Wigans dominating win of 70-0, in brief this was an encouraging win of 16 players who unselfishly played some fantastic rugby. Special mentions to Sam Carleton and Ben Gill who kept the ball alive and moving through he backs..... Louis Marsh, who scored a hat trick of tries on his debut and Sam Parker, who led his forwards around the field putting pressure on the opposition, forcing turnovers and mistakes. This in turn meant an 85% possession and a tackle count of "under 15"..... Well done "The Pack"
