Wigan under 12's arrived at Preston knowing they were in for a hard day being put into a pool that contained 3 of the 8 Lancashire finalists one of which being the joint winners.  

Wigan finished 3rd in the group missing out to second on trys scored, after drawing 0-0 against Sefton, losing by 3 trys to nil against a big VOL side who looked like Richie McCaw had been training at the breakdown.
This was followed up with a narrow win against Waterloo by 2 trys to one. Kyle getting the winning try.
This gained entry to the bowl semi final. 

With Wetherby deciding to go home Wigan progressed to the final and there up against Liverpool Colligete who they have never beaten. 

The first half Wigan had the upper hand twice having a overlap and not using it. 

The second half was a different game with Colligete pressing using their height advantage. Wigan held their line defending to the last kid holding out for the game to finish nil nil.  

Both teams shared the honour of winners
