RIP Ronnie Dutch

Farewell to one of rugby’s gentlemen.
It is with great sadness and shock that Wigan RUFC has to announce the untimely passing of former coach Ronnie Dutch.
Ronnie was a Club stalwart and member for many years. Initially, he was a prime mover in the establishment of the Junior Section before moving on to work with the senior players. Having been part of the 2nd XV coaching team which secured a league title in the 2007/8 season he then worked with the 1st XV and secured some creditable finishes in SLC1.
Ronnie will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of fun and positive attitude to life. He will be sadly missed by his many friends at Wigan RUFC, St Patrick’s ARLFC and the local rugby community in general.
Everyone at Wigan RUFC sends their condolences to Jacqui, Aaron and Aimee at this difficult time. Aimee is running the race for life in May and your support would be greatly appreciated.
