Club AGM

Chris Smith3 Jun - 18:38

Monday 9th June @ 1900hrs

The Annual General Meeting will take place at the club on Monday 9th June at 7pm.

An overview of the club’s performance over the year will be highlighted and there will be opportunities to ask any questions and/or make suggestions.

One of the key functions of the meeting is to elect Club Officers for the coming year. All positions are made available for election/re-election. The Officer positions are;

Club Chair (Chris Smith)
Hon Secretary (Adrian Goulding)
Hon Membership Secretary (Debbie Boland)
Hon Treasurer (Mandy Proffitt)
Rugby Chair (Wayne Bullough)
Junior Rugby Chair (Geoff Rigby)
Chair of House & Grounds (Jerome Weall)
Bar Chair (Danny Winrow)
Entertainment Chair (vacant)
Chair of Fundrasing (Ian Morgan)

The names in brackets are the people who have held the positions during 2024/2025.

Should anyone wish to be nominated for election they need to contact Adrian Goulding
(afgoulding@googlemail.com) to request the necessary form. All nominations must be proposed and seconded by a current club member. Any nominations that aren’t nominated and seconded won’t be accepted. The deadline for nominations is 6pm on Friday 8th June.

If any of the positions have multiple nominations there will be a ballot held at the AGM to give the members the opportunity to vote for their favored candidate.

I’d like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that the lifeblood of the club are the volunteers who give up their time to help both on and off the pitch. There are already countless people who give up their time to help the club grow and to be successful but there are always opportunities for more people to volunteer. The more volunteers we have the easier it is on the group that already give their time. I would ask that all of our
members, players and parents consider the opportunities that will be made available this year. The Executive positions are only a very small number of opportunities and once we have elected the Officers for the coming year there will be further details made available of all areas where we will need help.
