Zack and Mike take on Manchester Marathon

This weekend two stalwarts of Wigan RUFC will take on the challenge of the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon. Mike Robinson and Zack Higham will be running in memory of club legend, Ronnie Dutch, who sadly passed away last year. Both Mike and Zack are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to the hearts of Ronnie's friends and family.

Mike and Zack had this to say about the man himself and the challenge they now face:
"Ronnie was one of a kind. He was one of my first rugby coaches and one of those rare people you meet that leaves a lasting impression on you. It was a pleasure to know him and a shock to so many to lose him.

To say thank you to such an amazing gentleman, we are running the Manchester Marathon in his name and we're hoping to raise some funds for a great charity that supports so many people. We want to celebrate Ronnie and do something to show how much we appreciated and loved him by challenging ourselves to raise money for such an amazing charity."
