Our U10s (school year 5) team is a strong and committed squad of players - but we are always welcoming of new recruits of any experience or ability.

And at Wigan RUFC, we have experienced, qualified coaches who assist our players throughout their transition from Mini to Junior Rugby by instructing and demonstrating correct techniques, and thus ensuring they build up their confidence in an enjoyable and safe environment at both training and on matchdays.

As kids develop at different speeds, we also identify individual areas of personal development, and work on core skills to help them progress as young rugby players.

We are always looking for new players, and welcome novices and kids from other sports who fancy trying their hand at Rugby Union, and as Rugby Union is renowned for its social events, at Wigan we follow suit - with numerous daytime and nocturnal events throughout the year for both kids and adults alike.

Training is on Wednesdays between 18:30 and 19:30, and matches are on Sunday mornings, usually with a 11:00 kick off.
